What is the Weserland?

  • Weserland Coworking is a 140-square-meter, welcoming coworking space in Berlin’s Neukölln district that has been offering self-employed professionals a place to focus on their work and connect with others since 2011. The address is Weserstraße 21, 12045 Berlin. Freelancers, creatives, programmers, authors, journalists, designers, students, and small startups work side by side here.

  • Weserland has been around since 2011, making it one of Berlin’s oldest coworking spaces. We are a small, owner-operated space and not part of a chain.

  • Weserland Coworking covers an area of 140 square meters, divided into three quiet workspaces, including one for fixed desks, a phone booth, and a communal kitchen. It’s intentionally intimate—everyone knows everyone.

  • Weserland is home to a diverse mix of freelancers, self-employed professionals, creatives, programmers, authors, journalists, artists, designers, students, filmmakers, photographers, entrepreneurs, and small startups. Some are only here for a few weeks, while others have been part of the community for years.

  • The atmosphere at Weserland Coworking is friendly, open, and laid-back. It’s all about working together without feeling isolated—with space for focused work, spontaneous conversations, brainstorming, and shared lunches. It’s not just another anonymous open-plan office, but a place with heart and personality.

  • At its core, Weserland is a quiet space. There are three separate quiet workrooms for focused work and a phone booth for calls—conversations and networking intentionally take place in the communal areas (kitchen, lounge).

  • Weserland has a close-knit community of about 20–40 regular coworkers—small enough that everyone knows each other. The communal kitchen, shared lunches, and casual conversations in the lounge area make networking feel natural, without being intrusive.

  • Weserland Coworking is small, intimate, and personal—140 square meters with a close-knit community instead of an anonymous open-plan office. It has been operating as an owner-managed space (not a chain) since 2011, was ranked by Forbes as one of the 10 best coworking spaces worldwide, and provides members with triple-redundant internet, HEPA air filters, a portafilter espresso machine, a phone booth, a power nap area, and 24/7 access.
